Cremation or memorial jewellery offers a meaningful way to honour and remember a loved one who has passed away. These pieces can contain a portion of the person’s ashes (cremains) within them, allowing the wearer to carry a part of their departed family member or friend. Cremation jewellery comes in various forms, such as pendants, lockets, rings, and bracelets. For many, these personal and tangible keepsakes provide a sense of comfort and connection during difficult times, enabling them to keep their loved one close. You’ll receive heartwarming progress photos chronicling the creation of your custom memory piece. These images will allow you to witness the beautiful work in progress and cherish the memories associated with it, as they’ll be delivered alongside the completed piece.

Memories 4 Life is an Australian-owned and operated business. All of our jewellery pieces are crafted locally and hand-finished by our qualified team of jewellers. We have sourced our chains from the same high-quality Australian supplier for over 40 years.

After you place your order, our team will send a collection kit containing everything needed to return your loved one’s ashes. The kit includes a prepaid, signature-required envelope to ensure the secure delivery of your loved one’s remains. With these extra precautions, you can trust that your loved one’s ashes will be handled with the utmost care.

Once you’ve placed your order, we’ll send you a Collection Kit. Follow the instructions provided, then return the completed kit to us in the pre-paid envelope.

After we receive your kit, we’ll confirm its safe arrival and begin creating your special memorial piece.

Our collection pack includes a multi-sizer tool to help you determine your ring size. We recommend using this tool to ensure the ring fits properly. If you’re unsure of your size, visit your local jeweller, who can measure your finger accurately. While some jewellers may charge a small fee for this service, many provide it free of charge.

Our ring selection, excluding the rail rings, can be resized. If you need a ring resized, please send it back to us, and we’ll provide a quote for the cost. Unfortunately, the rail rings cannot be resized, so we highly recommend you visit your local jeweller to have your finger accurately measured before ordering. This will ensure a proper fit, as the rail rings cannot be changed once ordered.

Our resin jewellery is designed for durability and longevity, but like all precious items, it requires proper care to maintain its beauty. To ensure your memorial piece remains a lasting tribute to your loved one, we recommend the following care guidelines:

Daily Wear: While our resin is hard-wearing, we advise against continuous wear to prevent potential damage.

Chemical Exposure: Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, including cleaning agents and beauty products, as they may affect the resin’s integrity.

Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause discoloration, so store your piece in a shaded area when not in use.

Moisture: Keep your jewellery away from extended moisture to prevent any adverse effects on the resin.

Maintenance: To keep your piece looking its best, send it back to us annually for a free inspection. You only need to cover the postage to and from our studio.Go to our contact page and let us know your piece is coming.

What is in the collection Kit? and what do I do?

The Cremation Pack is thoughtfully designed to ensure your loved one’s ashes are handled with the utmost care and respect. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use it:

1. Spoon: Use the provided spoon to gently transfer your loved one’s ashes into the small plastic bag.
2. Seal the Small Bag: Once filled, seal the small plastic bag securely.
3. Larger Plastic Bag: Place the sealed small bag into the larger plastic bag and seal it as well.
4. Brown Paper Bag: Put both sealed plastic bags into the supplied brown paper bag.
5. Ring Sizing: If you’ve selected a ring, use the plastic ring sizer to determine your correct size and include it in the brown paper bag.
6. Checklist: Complete the checklist on the bag to ensure all required items are enclosed.
7. Envelope with Tracking: After completing the checklist, place the filled brown paper bag into the provided envelope with tracking numbers.
8. Send Back to Us: Dispatch the envelope back to us for the creation of your special piece.

Once we receive the necessary materials, we will immediately begin crafting your custom memorial piece. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require additional support.

We offer a variety of engraving options to add a personalized touch to your piece. This could be a simple engraved name or a monogram of your loved one’s initials. Our team is happy to work with you to create a truly unique item that reflects your individual style and preferences. Just let us know your specific requirements, and we’ll make it happen.

As soon as we receive your loved one’s inclusions, we will begin crafting your personalized memorial piece. Each item is meticulously created to honour your loved one with the utmost care and respect. Given the volume of orders we are processing, the creation of your unique piece may take up to 6 weeks. However, you can be confident that your memorial will be crafted individually within this timeframe.

When we receive the cremains of your loved one, we cross-reference them against the customer number you provided to ensure accuracy. This ID number is meticulously double-checked and triple-checked throughout the creation process to guarantee your ashes are reverently placed in your memorial piece. For your peace of mind, we photograph each stage of production and will include these photos with your finished jewellery. Our jewellery artisans have over 40 years of collective experience handling this delicate process with the utmost care.

Checking your order before it’s placed is extremely important. Have you chosen the right metal colour? Is your finger size correct? Is the engraving spelled accurately? Is the date correct?

Given the unique and personal nature of our pieces, we’re unfortunately unable to offer returns or exchanges, except in the rare event of a mistake on our part. If an error does occur, we’ll do our best to rectify the issue.
